Dental implants at Wakad
A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth, so a crown, bridge or denture can be fixed to it without touching the teeth beside it. Placement takes about 45 to 90 minutes under local anaesthesia; the implant then bonds with the bone over 3 to 6 months before the final tooth goes on. Every plan starts from a 3D CBCT scan, which shows whether the bone is enough or a graft is needed first.
